8/26/2008 A wild Day..September 5th, 2008 Well, I may not get Mother of the year award......but as a mother I did my civic duty...(kind of Lame) Anyways, yesterday my children were coming off the school bus and my oldest, Alexandra, was holding hands with this little boy (kindergartener). He looked distraught and being who my daughter is was comforting him. When I called her over he stood there for a minute then broke out crying...OMG?! I asked him where is mommy was and did he remember where he lived at. I felt sooo bad for the boy and then freaked when the boy started walking me out of our development. Ya he took the wrong bus home. I took him back to our house and called the school.... the Damm School would not pick up the phone! So I had to call the police department and then sent someone out. He was calling around to find the parents. When they finally showed up, the parents. The mother was crying the father, lol, was very thankful. Few minutes later the bus driver showed up. The boy had not been tagged by the teacher to get on the bus. (First week of school he should have been) So the mom is now asking why he wasn’t tagged, ya she’s mad now, deservingly so. I had explained to the parents that my daughter had found him and when I had called to her to come over so we could go home he started to cry. After realizing he live too far to have walked him home I took him to our home to call the school…ect. Seems the father worked at the local car dealership and mom was at the school freaking out because they lost her son. Later that night there was a knock at my back door. Seems the parents and the son, which is named Juan the same as my son, were at our back door. Talk about embarrassed!!! That’s my laundry room and there was more than a few unmentionables hanging up there. =/ They had brought my daughter a balloon and a card as thank you to her for her deed. The father also gave me his card and stated that if for any reason I need anything for my car he would be more than happy to have it done at his place of work. Strike one for Good Karma.
